SNOOZE

THE SHAYTAN'S BUTTON

MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS,

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE SNOOZED

THE ALARM FOR FAJR AND TOLD

OURSELVES,

"FIVE MORE MINUTES"

AND THE NEXT WE KNOW,

THE SUN IS UP AND THE TIME FOR

FAJR HAS PASSED?

SOUNDS QUITE FAMILIAR ISN'T IT??

NOW THAT WE ARE USED TO.

SNOOZING OUR WAY THROUGH FAJR

PRAYER,

LET'S ASK OURSELVES WHO IS TO BE

BLAMED?

THE ALARM OR OUR LEVEL OF

EMAAN??

KNOW THAT,

WAKING UP FOR FAJR IS INDEED A TRYING

TASK FOR A BELIEVER.

HERE ARE A FEW STEPS YOU CAN FOLLOW

TO HELP YOURSELF GET OUT OF BED AND

PERFORM YOUR FAJR PRAYERS ON TIME:

• REMIND YOURSELF, YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR

ALLAH SUBHANAWATAALA.

• MAKE FIRM INTENTION.

• MAKE SINCERE DUA'.

• DISABLE THE SNOOZE (SHAYTAN'S BUTTON)

• MAKE IT A POINT TO SLEEP EARLY.

MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS,

LET'S RECOUNT THE BLESSINGS AND

REWARDS ATTACHED TO THE PRAYER OF FAJR,

IN ORDER TO BOOST OUR MOTIVATION LEVELS

OF WAKING UP FOR THE BLESSED TASK EVERY

MORNING.

• WE WILL BE UNDER ALLAH'S PROTECTION.

• WE WILL ENTER JANNAH.

• WE WILL NOT ENTER HELL FIRE.

(SAHIH BUKHARI/MUSLIM)

WE MUST CONTINUALLY ASK OURSELVES,

'ARE OUR WORLDLY DESIRES MORE

IMPORTANT THAN OUR DUTY TO ALLAH

SUBHANAWATAALA?",

BECAUSE ONLY THEN CAN WE KEEP

OURSELVES IN CHECK AND PRIORITIZE ALLAH

SUBHANAWATAALA ABOVE ALL ELSE.

MAY ALLAH KEEP US ALL STEADFAST

ON OUR PRAYERS

HOW TO INCREASE RIZQ (PROVISIONS)?

12 WAYS TO INCREASE RIZQ (PROVISIONS) One of the 99 Names of Allah is Ar-Razzag ( الرَّزَّاقُ ) meaning The Total Provider / The Sustainer. Allah is the One who provides everything we need to live in this world. These are called Rizq, generally meaning Provisions. Rizq is not just wealth and food, but also everything else that you have been blessed with in your life; from people, to assets, to nature, to the clean air you breathe to everything luxurious you possess, materialistically as well as intellectually and spiritually. From the eyes that you are reading this with, to the laptop/phone you are reading this on, to the small pencil that lays unnoticed on your desk, all is from Allah swt. Let's take a look at ways to increase our Rizq. 1. TAWAKKUL (RELIANCE UPON ALLAH ALONE) Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, "If you would trust in Allah as He truly should be trusted,
