MUHARRAM THE MONTH OF ALLAH

 MUHARRAM
THE MONTH OF
ALLAH

The month of Allah, al-Muharram,
is a great and blessed month. It is
the first month of the Hiri year
and is one of the sacred months.
Literally meaning 'forbidden', Muharram is
one of the four sacred months (Dhul Haji,
Dhul Qa'dah, and Rajab). According to the
Islamic teachings, the month of Muharram
is so sacred that certain actions become
forbidden during it, as they violate its
sanctity. You can better understand the
significance
It is a month when the rewards for good
deeds are multiplied; when the Prophet
(saw) encouraged voluntary fasts and
described it as the 'sacred month of Allah'

What does the Quran say about Muharram?
Verily, the number of months with Allah is
twelve months (in a year), so was it
ordained by Allah on the Day when He
created the heavens and the earth; of them,
four are Sacred, (i.e., the 1st, the 7th, the
11th and the 12th months of the Islamic
calendar). That is the right religion, so
wrong, not yourselves therein" [Surah
At-Tawbah 9:36].

In Katheer (RA), regarding the verse,
explains, "Allah has chosen elites from His
creation: from among the angels He chose
Messengers, from among mankind He chose
Messengers, from among speech He chose
remembrance of Him (dhikr), from among
spaces on earth He chose the mosques, from
among the months He chose Ramadan and the
sacred months. So, venerate that which has
been chosen by Allah, for people of
understanding and wisdom respect that which
has been chosen by Him". (Tafseer Ibn Katheer)

HOW TO INCREASE RIZQ (PROVISIONS)?

12 WAYS TO INCREASE RIZQ (PROVISIONS) One of the 99 Names of Allah is Ar-Razzag ( الرَّزَّاقُ ) meaning The Total Provider / The Sustainer. Allah is the One who provides everything we need to live in this world. These are called Rizq, generally meaning Provisions. Rizq is not just wealth and food, but also everything else that you have been blessed with in your life; from people, to assets, to nature, to the clean air you breathe to everything luxurious you possess, materialistically as well as intellectually and spiritually. From the eyes that you are reading this with, to the laptop/phone you are reading this on, to the small pencil that lays unnoticed on your desk, all is from Allah swt. Let's take a look at ways to increase our Rizq. 1. TAWAKKUL (RELIANCE UPON ALLAH ALONE) Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, "If you would trust in Allah as He truly should be trusted,
