IMPROVE YOUR SALAH

SIX WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR SALAH

1.Pray on Time
When one prays on time, this means
that they have left al worldly affairs
and dedicated this time to Allah its
as we all should. Hence the Prophet s
said answering the one who asked him
which deed is most beloved to Allah ﷻ
"Prayer done on Time.
(Sahih Muslim 85)

2. Understand Words
By making an effort to understand
the verses that you are reciting, you'll
be able to form a deep connection
with Allah ﷻ  as and His words in
the Quran. Moreover, contemplating
the words you say and the actions that
you complete throughout your prayer
allows you to maintain focus and
remember your purpose in this life!

3. Do Not Rush
When you pray, take your time!
Remember that Allah ﷻ  is in control of
the situation you might be rushing to.
More importantly, remember that
you are standing in front of the lord
of the worlds! Relieve yourself of the
stresses of your life and take comfort
in your prayer. Allah ﷻ  warns us against
those who pray without giving Salah
salah the attention and the time it
deserves: "So woe to the praying ones,
Who are unmindful of their prayer -"
(Quran, 107:5-6)

4. Eliminate Distraction
Try to pray in a quiet place, where you know
there will be no distractions. Distractions are
not only on your phone or your business but
can also be from your family and children!
Allah às warns us of this in the Quran, and
speaks directly to the believers:
"O you who believe, let not your
wealth nor your children divert you
from the remembrance of Allah and
whoever does that, these are the losers.
(Quran, 63:9)

5. Calm Your Mind
Give your mind a break for a few minutes
before praying. Take time out from your
tasks and relax. Prepare the mind by thinking
about your upcoming salat. Remind yourself
that Allah is waiting for your salat and will
will listen to every word you say. This will
help ensure concentration during prayer.

6. Fight With Shaytan
Bring the mind back when ever you feel
that focus has been lost. Remember that
shaitaan's mission is to separate us from
Allah and that one of his favorite tactics to
do this is to make us lose concentration in
salah. Don't fall into his traps!

MUHARRAM THE MONTH OF ALLAH

MUHARRAM THE MONTH OF ALLAH The month of Allah, al-Muharram, is a great and blessed month. It is the first month of the Hiri year and is one of the sacred months. Literally meaning 'forbidden', Muharram is one of the four sacred months (Dhul Haji, Dhul Qa'dah, and Rajab). According to the Islamic teachings, the month of Muharram is so sacred that certain actions become forbidden during it, as they violate its sanctity. You can better understand the significance It is a month when the rewards for good deeds are multiplied; when the Prophet (saw) encouraged voluntary fasts and described it as the 'sacred month of Allah' What does the Quran say about Muharram?  Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are Sacred, (i.e., the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong, not yourselves t...

About MATAM IN ISLAM RIGHT OR WRONG

About MATAM IN ISLAM RIGHT OR WRONG Matm is a ritual done by Shia Muslims on 10th of Ashoora, in the grief of the Martyr Hussain رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ To show their grief they mourn and harm themselves by striking sword on their body or slapping their face and beating their chest. This action of their is unapproved from the Islamic Sources (The Quran & Sunnah) and it is considered as Haram and Bidah (Innovation). The Prophet did not do them, nor did any of his companions. None of his companions did them when he or anyone else died, although the loss of prophet Muhammad was greater than the death of Hussain  رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ. Prophet ﷺ,  strictly forbade harming oneself over the loss of someone dear to us and said: "He is not one of us who strikes his cheeks, rends his garment, or cries with the cry of the Jaahiliyyah." (Sahih Bukhari : 1294) Infact these Shia do matm just as a showoff, because the loss of  Hussain (رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ) is a lesser loss than the...
