How Can You Help The Dead?


1. Make Dua for them

2. Give Charity on their Behalf

3. Keep Fast on their Behalf

4. Do Ourbani in their Name

5. Do Hajj/Umrah in their Name

If You are Their Child or Grandchild,

You can Benefit them even more.

"A man's status will be raised in Paradise and

he will ask, 'How did I get here?' He will

be told, 'By your son's du'aa's (prayers) for

forgiveness for you."

- (Ibn Majah, 3660 )


"When a person dies, all his deeds come to an

end except three: sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing

charity, e.g. a waqf or endowment), beneficial

knowledge (which he has left behind), or a

righteous child who will pray for him

Sahih (Darussalam)

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3651

All these things Benefit the Dead. May

Allah have mercy upon them. Ameen
