Signs of Good Ending 


1. Uttering the shahadah (testimony of
faith) when dying:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"A person whose last words are La ilaha
ilLAllah (there is not god but Allah) will enter
Paradise". ~Abu Dawud no. 3116 Sahih,

2. Dying with sweat on the
forehead:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said
"the believer dies with sweat on
his forehead".~Sunan al-tirmidhi
no, 980 sahih.

3. Being killed on the battlefield in the sake of
Allah:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
*One who is slain in the way of Allah is a
martyr.'-Sahih Muslim no 1915
4. Dying of a plague:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said;
"The plague is martyrdom for every Muslim", -
Sahih bukhari no,2830
Sahih Muslim no.1916

5, Dying of a stomach disease;
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sald;
..and whoever dies of a stomach disease is a
martyr", ~Sahih Muslim no1915
6, Dying because of being crushed by a
falling wall or by drowning:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sald;
"The martyr are five ; ..the one who drwons,
the one who is crushed by a falling wall,
~Sahih Bukhari no,2829
Sahih Muslim no,1915

7. If a women dies as a result of
childbirth, or when she is pregnant.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said
*A women who dies with child is a
martvr", ~Sunan Abu Dawud no.3111 Al
martyr"
Khattabi said: what this means is if
she dies with a child in her womb
"Awn al-Mabud.

8. Death caused by burning:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said
. the one who is burned to death is a
martyr...'-Musnad Ahmed no.23804
g. Being killed while defending ones
relegion, wealth or life:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) said
Whoever is killed defending his wealth is a
martyr; whoever is killed defending his
relegion is a martyr; whoever is killed in self-
defense is a martyr."

10. Being killed while guarding the borders of
Islam for the sake of Allah (Ribat);
The Prophet Muhammad (*##) said:
"Guarding the borders of Islam for one day
and one night is better than fasting and
praying at night for a whole month, and is he
dies (whist performing this duty), he will go
on recieving the reward for this greet died
and his provision (continually), and he will be
spared the questioning in the grave." ~Sahih
Muslim no 1913

11. One of the signs of a good end is dying
whilst doing a righteous deed:
The Prophet Muhammad (#*) said:
"Whoever says La ilaha ill-Allah, seeking
the countenance of Allah thereby, and that
is the last of his deeds, will enter Paradise.
Whoever gives charity and that is the last
of his deeds will enter Paradise."
Musnad Ahmed no 22813 classed as sahih
by Al Albani in kitab at Janaiz p.43.
