CONGRATULATIONS ON SLAMIC NEW YEAR

 CONGRATULATIONS ON
SLAMIC NEW YEAR

It has spread these days

through modern technology;

those advising people to seek

forgiveness and repent at the

end of the Islamic year while

congratulating them for the

start of the new year,

A. Allot this is an innovation This

is not the new year; this is only

terminology. It is not the new

year.

Every day your individual year

could complete; everyday, every

month and every week according

to when you were born

It is not regulated to the

month of Muharram. This

affair is only terminology.

Umar may Allah be pleased

with him took counsel with

the companions because the

workers from his offices would

come to him and not know

what (yearly) date to use.

Therefore, he took counsel

with the companions.

The calendar was

previously according to the

Christian calendar that was

already present but they

did not want to follow the

Jews and Christians.

Therefore, they came to

a consensus to make the

calendar according to the

migration of the Messenger

of Allah صلی الله علیه وسلم

because it was the greatest

event that occurred in Islam

thus they made it the beginning

of the Hijri year for the benefit

and need to do so, not to specify

the Hijri year with congratulations

or Dua; none of this has been

narrated (from the companions)

therefore this is an innovation.

MUHARRAM THE MONTH OF ALLAH

MUHARRAM THE MONTH OF ALLAH The month of Allah, al-Muharram, is a great and blessed month. It is the first month of the Hiri year and is one of the sacred months. Literally meaning 'forbidden', Muharram is one of the four sacred months (Dhul Haji, Dhul Qa'dah, and Rajab). According to the Islamic teachings, the month of Muharram is so sacred that certain actions become forbidden during it, as they violate its sanctity. You can better understand the significance It is a month when the rewards for good deeds are multiplied; when the Prophet (saw) encouraged voluntary fasts and described it as the 'sacred month of Allah' What does the Quran say about Muharram?  Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are Sacred, (i.e., the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong, not yourselves t...

About MATAM IN ISLAM RIGHT OR WRONG

About MATAM IN ISLAM RIGHT OR WRONG Matm is a ritual done by Shia Muslims on 10th of Ashoora, in the grief of the Martyr Hussain رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ To show their grief they mourn and harm themselves by striking sword on their body or slapping their face and beating their chest. This action of their is unapproved from the Islamic Sources (The Quran & Sunnah) and it is considered as Haram and Bidah (Innovation). The Prophet did not do them, nor did any of his companions. None of his companions did them when he or anyone else died, although the loss of prophet Muhammad was greater than the death of Hussain  رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ. Prophet ﷺ,  strictly forbade harming oneself over the loss of someone dear to us and said: "He is not one of us who strikes his cheeks, rends his garment, or cries with the cry of the Jaahiliyyah." (Sahih Bukhari : 1294) Infact these Shia do matm just as a showoff, because the loss of  Hussain (رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ) is a lesser loss than the...
